One Foot In, One Foot Out

Right now I am torn between two worlds.  In one world I am doing what I need to do to pay the bills and in the other world I am trying to do what I love, and get paid for it.  Just for now, what I love doesn’t pay the bills, although I am working on that.

So, right now, it feels like I have one foot on shore and the other foot on a ship that’s about to sail.  Its getting to a point where I must chose and step one way or the other.

In a previous post, I talked about the free 6 Advisors assessment I took, and it was interesting having to answer the second question.  The second question involved what I was doing now / my work.  And since I have one foot in two different worlds, the answer would be complete different depending on which world I based the answer on.  I decided to answer it based on where I spend most of my time, which currently is working to pay the bills in a position that does not inspire me.  But it did underscore for me how I truly am half in one world and half in another right now.  I am truly in a transition.
